My girlfriend and I were visiting Skopelos Town for the day and where looking for a place to have lunch near the port. Molos looked very nice but that's it. That is why we are giving it a one star. The rest was a disaster. My plate was Beef Stifado, the special for the day. One would think it would be made that day but it came to our table cold and rubbery. The only thing that was acceptable was the fries that were just made. As for my girlfriends lunch, which was Tuna with vegetables was also cold and undesirable to consume. If that was not enough They served us Olive Spread which had bits of olive pits that ended up chipping my girlfriends tooth. As for the owner he was no where to be found after we mentioned all these issues to the waitress, not until we paid 50 euros for this mess and let our frustration be known again to the waitress she went and got the owner as we walked away. You would think he would try to explain or make us feel that it was some kind of error in the kitchen he basically said he did not believe us and was very nasty.Molos may have a great spot in the port of Skopelos but sure has no respect for its patrons and I would never go to this place again even if it was the last place on the island.

This family run traditional taverna is fantastic, the Dakos salad is amazing as is the Octopus cooked in vinegar, great service, great location and great local live music, we'll be back 😊

After our mid-morning walk we stopped for a Greek coffee but once we saw the "grandma- like’ looking casseroles being prepared for the day we had to stay and partake … and glad we did.Our young waiter was pleasant and as always the Greek coffee was the perfect wake-up call.We sat outside and ordered the meatballs, the pasticcio and were so delighted with the authenticity we also ordered food to take away. Delicious home-cooking right there on the wharf.

Delicious food, you should definitely try it! The calamari and the cheese croquettes were absolutely amazing! Prices were reasonable , the staff was very polite and service was fast. We paid around 60 euros for 2 people. The view from the tables is simply amazing, next to the sea.

Fantastic restaurant with a great view. Ignore the negative reviews from complainers - this was some of the best food we have had in Greece! Beautiful ingredients and food pairings in a lovely setting. We were delighted to find such quality and authentic food right on the port. Highly recommend!

The staff were really friendly helpful and warm . All the dishes we had from the traditional Greek menu were really tasty . I particularly loved the stuffed capsicum and tomato .

Friendly staff, tried the traditional plate with goat and some other nice starters and everything was very tasty. The portokalopita dessert is highly recommended!

The atmosphere was excellent; laid back and friendly. The setting was beautiful; beachside with cliffa and trees all around. We were well looked after. Everyone all over Skopelos speaks English and all signs and menus have English alongside the Greek. The locally caught fish we bought was delicious. The full meal cost about €100 for three people. Wasps are a problem at this time of year all over the island, dealt with here by small buckets of burning coffee to ward them off; a unique scent to characterise a memorable, idyllic moment.

Reading some of the reviews we decided to try it out. From the beginning the service could only be described as very poor bordering on the verge of comical. The waiter had such an unfriendly and bad attitude it actually annoyed me so much to take to write this review which I have never done before. It is also the only time EVER that we have never left a tip. If I was running a business I would not have someone serving customers who was not suited to the job. Customers are spending 70e-80e to feel like they are welcome and appreciated. We have found our experience in every place we visited in both Skiathos and skopolos a fantastic experience due to the exemplary service but this is one restaurant I would not go back to again. Food was also very average but would be overlooked if the service was better. Reading other reviews the owner does not seem to accept any criticism but if you want to improve you have to listen to your customers.

we had to wait for more than an hour after the meal, in the cases where the appetizers came more than 45 minutes after we ordered. the quality is far below expectations and in no way at the level of the note on Google. In the end, after an explanation "I don't know how to tell you, I didn't decide" by the waiter, I paid for 7 slices of bread at 1.3 euros per slice.... 🤦 I have never experienced anything like this anywhere in Greece. Most of the time you get various appetizers or dessert from the house. here you pay for the bread you didn't ask for 😃

Molos is our favorite restaurant on the island.We've eaten here a few times, some of the standouts: The goat with plums was phenomenal, probably our favorite of the dishes we've tried. The tomatoes in the Greek salads are phenomenal, I was told they're local. We also had the sagabaki which was rather different from the way I've had it in the states I was pleasantly surprised to have it with with honey and fruit. Oddly I was incredibly surprised by the grilled chicken with vegetables, I was craving something light after over a week of eating out and the flavors on something so simple were amazing, I wiped the plate clean. The chicken meat is very different than what we have in the US in terms of flavor and texture.On one of the nights we at there they had live Greek music which was very entertaining, the owner even played a few sets on the bouzouki. The music was a treat to experience, it had a very authentic small town vibe.

We were on a full day boat trip and only had two hours on Skopelos so we wanted to have a quick lunch here. We asked for a green salad, but the waiter was kind of irritated and in the end we received cooked leaves. The rest of the food was ok. They were quite slow. We asked for watermelon or other deserts, they said they will bring something on the house. In the end we needed to leave without something sweet.

The food was amazing and the service was super friendly - ever single person working here was really nice. I recommend the mushrooms, fried zucchini and definitely get a Skopelos beer. Great vegan options and you get to sit by the sea. Amazing place.

staff service is very professional and if you feel cold, the resturant could also provide the blankets. Resturant has the seats outside to enjoy the great view. However, the food is not good value for money. The cuisines could be improved the flavor more.

Nice restaurant with view of the Chora. The tables were set next to the sea and the light sea breeze made our stay pleasant . Very polite waiters and quick service . The dishes were tasty and size of portion quite satisfactory. For two main dishes , a salad, two beers and two starters , we paid 76 euros . It’s worth visiting !!!

Tables with a gorgeous view. The friendly and attentive Greek waiters attended to our every desire, including co*cktails, wine, starters, mains, deserts and aperitif - all of which were prepared with care and very tasty. Can’t wait to go back.

We arrived at this restaurant having heard loads of good things about it . It's safe to say we were underwhelmed. The waiters were all very helpful and kind but the food was lackluster, pricey and bland. The lowlight of our dinner was the 40 euro lobster pasta that had like 40 grams of overcooked lobster and overcooked tagliolini.

This restaurant is amazing friendly staff , been going to the Greek islands for over 30 years now and has come across this little gem best food I’ve ever tasted it’s a must !! so clean and presentable you certainly will be amazed 😊

The food is fantastic, the service is exceptional, the view of the harbor is breathtaking. The family who owns it is so friendly, and the additional staff members were also incredibly interesting, adding to the whole wonderful experience. I travel solo and always look for these types of restaurants on my journeys with great food and great people - definitely happy I found this place. Totally recommend, but make sure you book in advance if you’re dining at a popular time as they fill up quickly. And look at that fish!! 🤤 tasted even better than it looks. Ευχαριστώ πολύ!

A small walk away from the Port you'll finfld this hidden gem.It's hands down some of the best food and service we received on our visit to Greece.The waiters couldn't help enough and always up for a laugh.Highly recommend the pork with plum, delicious!

Where to start…. The restaurant «looks» very cool from an outside pov, waiters.tresses are wearing uniforms, it looks clean. And that’s it.We ordered our food: 2 seafood platters, boar sausages and a swordfish dish.We couldn’t order wine from the first waiter who mentioned the «sommelier» is coming…. Well, he did not come by himself, we had to remind them thrice we wanted to order wine before the sommelier came. The wine menu is very detailed so it would have been enough but then, the sommelier started to drown us with tons (too much) of explanations and details about the wine whilst our only question was: which wine do you recommend to match the seafood platter? We couldn’t stop him and he obviously started by recommending the most expensive one… Also, the sommelier was clearly missing professional skills and did not know how to serve wine as he poured some on my partner’s phone.Back to our food, the plates were pretty late to arrive: we had a booking at 20:00, the plate arrived at 21:15. The wait was far too long.Let’s start with the seafood platter: VERY disappointed.- The menu mentioned «squids and cod» not fried squids and cod. When ordering a seafood platter from a seaside restaurant you definitely expect fresh fish and seafood, not FRIED.- The menu mentioned «Shrimps» so a plural noun… why was it a single shrimp per person then?- Also, where were the mussels? Again, mentioned in the menu but non existent in the plate.- Garlic sauce was mentioned but it got replaced by something like a bad tzatziki.- And last but not least, the salad was drenched in balsamic….- Overall, the variety of fish and seafood was off, a very narrow choice.Moving on to the boar sausages, three sausages was satisfying but they were very salty and the side was… just a potato and half and the «paprika sauce» tasted more like mayonnaise. A LOT of mayonnaise.The swordfish was good, though.At the end, the owner is sitting in the middle between the main room and the toilets. At the check, my father’s credit card had an issue and I ended up paying. The owner made a very disturbing joke to me and even came to the table to repeat it to the whole family. NOT. NECESSARY. Learn to be professional.However, the ladies were clean with amenities available.Price wise? Way too expensive, had dinner at much better places in Skopelos with a better quality-price value. Paying +220€ for an awful experience, if that’s what you’re looking for, go ahead.A terrible restaurant, lack of professional skills and food is a huge meh, avoid at all cost.

The restaurant is fine dining. It's so refreshing finding a restaurant with A quality food, service, and the view is amazing. The salad with walnuts, honey & cheese... And of course the Cheese pie from Skopelos!!!

We dined here twice in our 7 nights stay, and would have dined more as the food and service is exceptional, however it would have been a shame not to have sampled more of skopolos restaurants.We dined inside during the day and on the harbour front one evening, both had fantastic views and of course, fabulous food 🫶🏻I'm vegetarian and there was plenty of beautiful options for me....I loved their fresh rocket salad with walnuts , delicious.The staff are so friendly, attentive but respectful and really made us feel so welcome.Yanis was so friendly and I really enjoyed talking politics and comparing the UK to Greek government- not subject that is everyone's cup of tea, but I found him fascinating.The views from the harbour seats are spectacular, especially as the sun sets behind the peninsula and the lights start to twinkle in the harbour behind you.We stayed at the Evlalia apartments up the hill and passed this restaurant every night into town, it was always busy and I'd recommend booking during peak season.

Dined here as a group of 5 on one of our nights over a week holiday in Skopelos - it was 100% the best place we ate at. Everything was brilliant, from the waterside table, to the excellent service, beautiful wine list and a fresh healthy fish meal for everyone. Highly recommend this restaurant. The staff really made it for us as they were absolutely exceptional!

We’ve been visiting Skopelos for 4 days, eating out for all of our meals across the island and we can safely say that Muses has been the best; quality, taste and service!

One of the best restaurants we visited during our stay in Skopelos. The most amazing service and the food was to die for. Highly recommended!

Delicious food and service-minded team.The food was well prepared and beautifully presented.The staff were very attentive!They were friendly and smiling and approached you just right. Just as you would hope.The food was served very quickly.I find it very polite here, that they ask if one wants bread instead of just serving it and claiming money for it, as the majority of restaurants here do it.Unfortunately, I deduct one star because I was asked how I wanted my tuna steak. Ordered my Tuna steak rare-medium rare and was served it completely well done 🥲 absolutely no sign of any color...

Delicious meal at Olivo. The food was great and the atmosphere is lovely. The house Red wine for 13 euros is great too.We had beef carpaccio, tuna steak (huge portion) well cooked and ravioli. All delicious and well- priced would recommend to all for a more special dinner in skopelos

We had a lovely dinner at Olivo Restaurant.As a starter we had the mussels with nice, spicy flavours, unfortunately they were a bit overcooked. Our main courses (pasta with marinated pork and lamb shank with mashed potatoes) were tasty and well-seasoned. After 1 week in Greece we appreciated this style of cooking. The desert was on the house and also very nice. The menu is quite extensive, offering both traditional Greek and more contemporary dishes.

I went there for dinner and chose a salad. Unfortunately, they exaggerated the vinegar and that made me stay in bed for 2 days, with beautiful indigestion. I was the only one who suffered this from those who were at the table. The service was very good, the atmosphere was pleasant.

Excellent experience. The place has rapidly improved through the years, ever since it first opened. Pasta and meat were true to value and left us satisfied. Definitely will continue visiting. Keep up the good work.

Such a nice atmosphere that stands out from the other restaurants in Skopelos Town, with it’s secluded and romantic location. The service was very nice, particularly from a female servant with short hair we had both of our dinners, she was quick, friendly, very polite and recommended both food and wine when we were unsure of what to order. The food was amazing, the first dinner I ordered the mushroom risotto and I was blown away, so good!! The second dinner I ordered a salad with pears, bacon and cheese, it was nice and fresh and creative from the other salads I tasted on the island. Definitely recommend, and I was quite sad I didn’t get to go there one more time before our trip ended.

We had a lovely meal here and would recommend to anyone who wants a bit more than the standard taverna in Skopelos.Tucked away slightly off the main street the dining area is beautifullset out and feels very intimate. All the traditional dishes are available, but most come with a slight twist.We had halloumi stuffed minced beef burger, grilled salmon and greek salad. The food was well presented and tasted delicious.Maybe you pay a small premium for eating here, but not much h and it was well worth it.

Traditional fine-dinning place with Greek&Italian specific. Prices above average but dishes are very tasty. Overall it worth a visit. I recommand taking dinner, to get rid of the heat and also the lighting in the back garden is really nice.

Come here if you want to taste fresh, original Greek food! The staff is very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Lovely family run restaurant! The owners took the best care of us, and presented us very delicious home made dinner. After dinner, you might be surprised with amazing piano skills. Next time we are in Skopelos we will come back for sure.

A real gem in Skopelos Town! Finikas is a fabulous family owned restaurant with friendly service, amazing food, and a nice outdoor setting (as long as you don’t mind the motorbikes zipping past every so often!). We tried to get a table around 8pm one night but it was already full, but managed to grab one a few nights later, and we're glad we did. Our server explained all of the dishes, made some recommendations, and we were not disappointed. Top quality food at a reasonable price. It's quite popular (for obvious reasons) and fills up quickly, but if it's full and you are prepared to wait, it is definitely worth it.

Be patient while getting a table and service. Best to arrive early, before they open, and get the table inside. Sitting outside is a bit mad, with mopeds and cycles whizzing dangerously close to the tables, which are pitched due to the slope of the street. This is a family trio doing their best to provide the best dining experience, and they put their heart into the food they serve. We had delightful dishes of aubergine/red pepper/feta, a leafy salad with dried figs, tomatoes, corn, red onion, carrots, graced with a creamy dressing dashed with paprika, and a large bean stew in red sauce. We added Tzaziki and sliced fresh bread for good measure, and we were all satisfied. I would eat here again.

A really cosy place with nice food & excellent service. It is run by a lovely family, some of the most hospitable people we encountered in Greece. Later in the evening you can also enjoy some live piano music.

If I could give them 6 stars I would. Hell it probably deserves 8+ stars out of 5. Amazing service, even better food and with a personal touch. Traditional Mediterranean cuisine at its best. If you can find veal/beef sofrito go for it. Thanks for the amazing night.

Nice small and Cosy, family run restaurant in the heart of Chora. The father is the cook and mother and son they serve . Very polite and helpful people , quick service and delicious food . Very reasonable prices . Don’t miss out the meatballs or the mixed cold starters with pita bread . We visited two times while we were in Skopelos . Totally recommend it !!!

Guarantee of a lovely time in Skopelos. The staff is super nice and the restaurant is located in the middle of a busy crossroad which comes alive in the evening in a very nice way and there is aways so much to see while having lovely dinner here. It has such a unique atmosphere that we went twice. The food is great, everything is made from scratch including desserts and the combination of the food, staff and location makes it fee like home away from home. We hope to be back soon.

Service a bit slow. Food tasted ok but barely warm.Nice sheltered courtyard away from the busy sea front.Disappointed after reading the great reviews.

Simply the best restaurant in Skopelos. We had dinner there 4 times during our stay. We tried their innovative recipes such as the Aegean paella or the moussaka with tuna. All were delicious!

Nice place, but we waited over 50 minutes for our food only to be informed that the mussels were no longer available. The food was good but for the price we definitely expected more. Disappointing for us, we found better restaurants in Skopoles.

Very nice place. The garden /terrace is georgous, full of plants and flowers. A very quiet atmosphere, with some background music. Good service. The food is very good. They are using greeck ingredients but cooking them in a more modern style. Nice presentation and good portions. 1 started and 2 main dishes and I was full for a desert.

Such a beautiful location high up in pretty, authentic Skeopelos town. My boyfriend chose this restaurant for my birthday and the food was amazing, great service and ambience. The restaurant was quite busy by 8 o'clock but we were able to have our table for as long as we wanted. Would definitely recommend.

I had my birthday dinner here and it did not disappoint. The best food and restaurant I had in Skopelos.

Did not live up to expectations. Fresh salad as a starter. The main course was however a chicken that was very dry.

A great wee find, lovely setting, friendly staff and the food was delicious but not over priced.

Very good restaurant with many vegan dishes! The garden is very nice and it's perfect to enjoy a relaxing dinner. They offered us a vegan dessert at the end made with coconut milk which was delicious!

If you or your kids are very hungry and like cheesy pizzas it is the right place to go.But they taste a bit too much the same 😌Nice staff, good service as well.Huge portions- be careful 😜

Amazing food and ingredients. Very friendly staff and a fine place to share a pizza with anyone. Also, it's located near a very old orthodox church, if you're interested in the culture and tradition of the island.

Some excellent pizza if you are craving some comfort food. The owner was lovely and very polite, excellent portion sizes.

The pasta wasn't really good. It was unsalted and not very well cooked. On the other hand pizza was really good. The staff was polite and the service was prompt.

The spot is nice, but the pizza were disappointing after 40 min of waiting. Took the horiatiki, and the crust is wet/soft. There is a lot of tomato sauce on it, and a lot of cheese, but only 8 small cubes of feta. Also, they put some American commercial music… Other than that the service was nice

We ordered spesial pizza which was slim and tasty and pasta four cheese which was also very good. Regarding Pasta you can only choose between spaghetti and rigatoni. The green salad was nice as well. Friendly staff - Good value for money

The overall experience was really pleasant. Went with my girlfriend for a night out, ordered a horiatiki pizza (42cm). The service was kinda aggressive to be honest. Apart from that, the pizza was one of the best we have ever tried. The cuisine is open so you can watch the pizza-making process. Would highly recommend. They also implement a priority queue in case the tables are full.

Amazing pizzas - lovely thin crust and generous toppings. We shared 2 large pizzas between 5 of us (3 adults, 2 children), and still had some left over to take home! Friendly service in anice courtyard. Definitely worth a trip if you're a pizza lover. Didn't try the burgers but the table next to us ordered some and they looked great!!

A sweet restaurant in Skopelos, if you visit Gousto, don’t hesitate: order a pizza!Pizzas are really delicious here, the dough is incredibly tasty and well-made: not too heavy to digest, prepared in the restaurant, perfectly cooked. And they were surprisingly served fast.The salad were tasty with a fresh veggies.However, I removed two stars because two of my family ordered burger and they came very late, almost when we were all done eating our pizza and salad.So I really don’t recommend ordering burger or maybe, remove them from the menu.The service was kind and professional, some of the staff don’t speak English but they are very sweet and willing to make you feel at ease.

I've loved everything about this place, the food was excellent, the service as well, the atmosphere of the pizzeria is so cozy. I had to try the Gousto pizza which did not disappoint me, it was one of the best that I've ever tried, we also tried some of the burgers which were very good.

This place is a must visit in Skopelos! The pizzas are absolutely delicious! And so big we got to take some back to our villa and have for lunch the next day. Owners are very friendly too, which made the whole experience even better. We are going back tomorrow night to taste the burgers as apparently the best on the island!

A cute place if you've been eating at Greek tavernas every day and you're looking for a twist. The staff was very accommodating and kind. The food was tasty, but you should keep in mind that it maintains the more "americanised" Italian cuisine rather than the OG stuff. Nice selection of dishes and salads and pretty solid quantities for the price tag. It's in a little open yard so it's more confined than restaurants by the sea, yet still pretty. A solid visit!

We didn’t enjoy this restaurant as we expected to.There where two biggest downsides: food and service. The waitress didn’t speak english so ordering food was quite difficult plus we waited for a long time to order. The second downside was the food, all of the food we ordered was absolutely tasteless - there was also no salt or pepper on the table, so we had to eat it as it was.The atmosphere was nice tho.

Certainly a nice and romantic little place. The courtyard is very nicely lit and set out. The dishes we tried were certainly tasty but not as extraordinary as we would've liked in relation to the prices. The menu could have also benefited from some additional options. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and it was a pleasant visit overall!

This is one of our favorite restaurants on Skopelos. The food is absolutely incredible. We came back several times and tried most of the dishes. It’s a local family business that’s been run for for over 25 years. They focus on high-quality, fresh ingredients. The ambience is incredible with outside seating underneath a pomegranate tree. Highly recommend. Don’t miss it!

Giannis, who took care of us spoke fluent Swedish and was very charismatic.The menu was simple and not too crowded, and in my experience a small menu usually is a sign of quality. We ordered the vael steak, and it was as tender as it comes. Grilled to perfection! We sat outside in an incredible setting, a setting best experienced by being there yourself.

Really traditional local Greek meat.. slow cooked or grilled steaks... if you want a change from seafood and taking someone out to a really high top restaurant on the island I’d recommend this place. It isn’t cheap but I would thoroughly recommend to anyone who wants quality home cooked Greek meat.Also the staff are unbelievably friendly and kind. Last point the deserts are to die for!!!

For its garden alone with the lovely pomegranate tree this restaurant is worth a visit. The wine and food is high quality and more original than the usual Greek fare. The food is served in the pretty pottery which is hand made in the shop across the street. Prices are adequate. It's also nice that this place is frequented by locals which makes you feel that you finally left the tourist trail.

Great flavour and probably the best gyros I have tasted. No bells and whistles here just quality meats roasted up perfectly. I had the pork one and had the plate which was plenty of food. This place looks like a locals favourite as I saw many people getting takeaway orders. As well I totally understand why many people order 2 gyros right off the bat…the flavour is spot on. One thing…don’t expect them to speak English and don’t expect tourist level service.

Best souvlaki in Skopelos. It's big, full and absolutely tasty! The people that work here are nice and they're very welcoming, and you can eat underneath a huge Platanos that offers shade in the day or breeze in the night. Right by the port, easy to access but quiet and serene.

Visited Skopelos on boat trip, found this restaurant/ takeaway on our walk back to the boat,was going to have just a large beer but plumped for a gyros salad and a tuna salad. Both were immense and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

First off I'm not a gyro expert. I had a very satisfying gyro which had chips in it along with pork meat, ketchup, red onions and mustard. Friendly people who were happy to help. Two gyros cost €8. Very yummy if a little on the heavy side, but i guess that's the point! 😂

Went there on our host recommendation. Had high expectations but boy they were not met! Had one chicken pita gyros and two chicken gyros portion (plates). The meat was dry and almost tasteless. On the plates there was also some sliced cabbage, onions and tomatoes. But they had the not so great ideea to put red vinegarette on them. Sweet and sour taste with gyros? OMG Horrible!

The only positive that I can think of is that the atmosphere is okay and that the portion sizes are fine. As for the gyros it is a solid 2 out of 10, and to be fair it tastes like pulp paper. We didn't even finish eating our gyros (something that is a sin where im from). The fried zucchini were thick, blant and oily, but if they were remotelly crispy I would have given them a plus. At least the canned lemonade was tasty and we drank all of it :)

Excellent place! A family owned restaurant, and I really felt like I was eating a homemade meal! The best ingredients (it is Greece after all), the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating and the environment and the place was also very beautiful!
