  • Packed With Flavor – Because darker meat has more fat then white meat, it’s juicier and richer in flavor. Even if you just season with salt and pepper, thighs will be juicier and more flavorful than breasts.
  • Hard To Mess Up – If you take breast meat over that 165℉ mark, there’s no coming back. Boneless chicken thighs on the other hand, are hard to screw up! While you can definitely overcook them, they can go over the recommended temp 20 or even 30 degrees and still be juicy and tender.

How Long Do Boneless Chicken Thighs Take To Cook?

As with any cut of meat, the length of time it takes to cook chicken thighs will vary by size and weight. It’s all about the internal temperature.

Chicken in general should be cooked to a temperature of 165℉. Keep a digital meat thermometer handy so you don’t accidentally overcook it. Because chicken thighs have a higher fat content, they stay juicy even if you go a little over.

Of course it also depends on the temperature you’re cooking them at. Chicken cooked at 375℉ will take longer than chicken cooked at 425℉. Here’s a quick overview:

350℉: 35 minutes

375℉: 30-35 minutes

400℉: 25-30 minutes

425℉: 20-25 minutes
